Day 234 of 366

Day 234 of 366

I walk through the sculpture garden outside of the Hirshhorn Museum all the time. I’ve never noticed Yoko Ono’s wish tree installation before. I don’t know how I missed it. I love the idea behind this. I spent some time snooping in other people’s wishes. Some of the wishes were generic, some sad, some funny, but all were hopeful. The funniest one? “I wish I didn’t have to go to school.”

  1. Wow, this is some work. I think it may be time for a new blog title….maybe something like “Finally a photographer.”

    • Thanks so much for this comment! A couple of other people have told me it’s time to change the name as well. The problem is that I can’t do it without messing with the site address. I guess I didn’t exactly name this with the future in mind. : )
